Existence

The equation y = 0, or f(x) = 0, is the starting point for constructing an equation.

In the building of an equation, cognizance of an entity’s existence is the first step. Existence in the equation is an all or nothing affair, meaning Existence equals positive one (+1) and the entity meets the threshold for acknowledgement, or zero (0) if the entity does not meet the threshold for acknowledgment.  The entity in question need not be an actual one in the real world, and may be an incorporeal object (e.g., a triangle, an imagined unicorn).

At the moment, the x variable can not be implemented yet, so Existence will be placed by itself.  Thus far, the equation is the following.

y = Existence,

or

f(x) = Existence,

where:

Existence = positive one (+1) if the entity has been cognized or acknowledged

Existence = zero (0) if the entity has never been experienced by the individual.
