Marcus Woods majored in psychology and communications while studying at Boston College. He has garnered proficiency in a wide variety of skills that enabled him to design and refine Affect Engineering over the greater part of a decade. They include math (brute computational ability), drawing (artistry), creative writing (inventiveness), poetry (flair), chess (analytical thinking, foresight, and mental stamina), tennis (physical stamina and competitive fire), and making fabulous paper airplanes (attention to detail). He is also a vegan.
Marcus is a relentless worker and dedicated learner who taught ballroom and Latin dancing as a professional instructor, competing and performing exhibitions with both his students and other professionals for four and a half years. Marcus is currently a substitute teacher for all grade levels and is honing his ability to make complex subject matter accessible to the general population.
